Golan Heights

The Golan Heights Winery produces premium varietals, proprietary blends and traditional method sparkling wines, marketed under the labels "Yarden", "Gamla" and "Golan".

The winery was founded in 1983 and is located in the small town of Katzrin, high up on the Golan Heights. 

By combining state-of-art technology with traditional vinification techniques, the company has succeeded in producing award-winning wines, firmly placing Israel on the international wine map.

Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon

Serving Suggestion: Fairly full flavoured foods such as roasted duck, beef steak or pasta in tomato sauce.

Yarden Blanc De Blanc

Serving Suggestions: rich and/or salty food such as cold terrine of goose liver, toast points topped with avocado puree and caviar.

Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Red

Serving Suggestion: goes well with full-flavoured foods, such as peppered grilled steak, roast goose or roasted rack of lamb.

Serving Suggestions: With a wide variety of foods, from sushi to roast chicken.

Serving Suggestion: Alone as desert, or with many sweet courses and foie gras.

Best served with strong flavoured foods, pasta, pizzas, meat dishes such as grilled hamburgers and steaks.
