Maggi
In Switzerland in 1863, Julius MAGGI developed a formula to bring added taste to meals. This marked the beginning of the MAGGI brand and its lines of convenient food products. In 1882, the Swiss Government commissioned MAGGI to create a food product that would be quick to prepare and nutritious to help with the problem of women having less time to prepare meals as more and more worked outside the home. The results — two instant pea soups and an instant bean soup – were a huge success. In 1947 Nestlé acquired the MAGGI brand and keeps producing culinary products of the highest quality across the globe.
Due to its convenience and a wide range of products, MAGGI has been passed down from generation to generation throughout Latin America as the secret to enlivening any dish with that special Latino flavor.
MAGGI has been a key ingredient on Latino dinner tables for years, featuring products such as Bouillons, Soups and Seasonings to name a few. MAGGI is able to bring any family together to share a delicious, home-cooked meal that comes from the heart.
Produced throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, you can now find this authentic Latino product in almost all local grocery stores.
Another quality product from Nestlé, the company you have known and trusted for years, you can be sure you are giving your family the very best when you prepare meals with MAGGI.
